Home Electronics Collection event for Cayuga County

The Electronics Plus Cayuga is a great opportunity for all Cayuga County residents to properly dispose of Electronics Plus FOR FREE!  This proper disposal protects human health, our community and the environment.

Acceptable Electronics Plus are....

  • CRT televisions/monitors (FREE, limit 4 total per vehicle)
  • Computer Equipment (FREE)
  • Flat Screen Monitors and Flat Screen Televisions (FREE)
  • Fluorescent Light Bulbs (FREE)
  • Video Game Systems (FREE)
  • Hearing Aid Batteries and other Button Cell Batteries (FREE)
  • Universal Power Supplies (FREE)
  • Cell Phones (FREE)
  • Toner/Ink Cartridges (FREE)
  • Console and projection TVs (FREE)

Shredding will also be available at this years event

Freon Products Accepted (FREE)

  • Window Air Conditioners
  • Portable Air Conditioners
  • Dehumidifiers
  • Dorm Size Refrigerators (40 pound limit)
  • Other Freon Appliances (40 pound limit)

Please consider a DONATION to help keep these events free and convenient in your community.  Our costs have continued to rise due to NEW Covid-19 policies and procedures, difficult to recycle items, depressed commodity markets, and rising labor costs.
