30-Hour Pesticide Certification Course (3a,3b,25)

2020 30-Hour Pesticide Course

LEARNING OBJECTIVE: Provide a horticulture education opportunity enabling participants to gain practical knowledge and problem solving skills necessary for growing and maintaining healthy lawns & landscapes and become eligible to take the DEC pesticide applicator’s exam.

AUDIENCE: Arborists, Garden Retail, Lawn, Landscape and Nursery Professionals

30-HOUR PESTICIDE CERTIFICATION and EXAM: Attendance at all sessions meets the 30-hour credit requirement to take the Pesticide Certification exams for Core and Category 3a, 3b and 25 held at 9:00 a.m. on Thursday, February 13th in the Wegman Lodge. Cost for the exam that day is $100.00 check or money order payable to the NYS DEC. Cash will NOT be accepted as payment for the exams.

PRE-REGISTRATION: Enrollment for each session is limited. Please pre-register. Complete the registration no later than four days prior to class.

COST for 30-hour course: $425.00 for Enrollees of CCEMC Agriculture/Horticulture program or $475.00 for non-enrollees (includes Core and Category manuals). For information on enrolling in our Hort or Ag programs, contact our office. Individual session prices are $45 for enrollees and $50 for non-enrollees.
